Becky and I were biking on the trail between US 27 and the Sturgeon River today. It was a hot day and our minds were on swimming. We came up the idea to tube down the Sturgeon River. We already had river tubes from our time in Ludington, we just needed a plan to get on the river. We decided that we would drop off the tubes and family upstream and park the truck at the bridge where we would get off the water. I would then bike up the trail and we would all head down the river. While it was a short bike ride, the river twists its way through the land creating a good river ride.
